Music
Music lets you toggle the game's background music on or off.
Turn off background music while keeping all sound effects, Pokémon cries, and menu sounds.

Background Music
Only background music is affected. Sound effects are unaffected.

Music changes are applied immediately in real time. If you toggle music from the title screen's Options menu, the game will begin playing the background music associated with your current save's location before you continue playing.
This is a harmless side effect of applying the setting instantly and is kept intentionally for consistency with the in-game behavior.
